Making a quick bow saw in the bush. Just carrying the saw blade in the bush is a lot easier and it lightens your load. Then you can make your bow saw relatively quick with just a knife and a small folding saw. This enables you to cut larger diameter logs. Something a folding saw can’t do. I used a 21″ blade.
